STEVE RODGERS NAMED PRUDENTIAL’S CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Prudential California Realty recently announced that Steve Rodgers, previously the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer for Southern California and the Central Coast, has been named President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The mentoring of company founders Steve Games and Nyda Jones-Church has been invaluable to me in strengthening my leadership style and learning more of this business over the years. They have created a company and agent environment that is unsurpassed,” said Rodgers.

Rodgers’ real estate career has spanned 19 years. He has spent 13 of those years with Prudential California Realty. Upon joining the company, he decided to take a break from management and real estate sales, which he was doing for his previous employer, and instead took over the revamping of Prudential’s new-agent training and licensing program. He later moved back into management, taking over a troubled office. Through his extensive recruiting, coaching and training efforts, he brought the office up to one of the top 10 in the country for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates. He was named general manager of the San Diego region shortly thereafter.

Rodgers became President of the company’s Orange County operations and Vice President of its San Diego region in 2004. Just two years later, he earned the title of President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prudential California Realty, part of HomeServices of America Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, represented almost $19 billion in sales volume in 2006. The company has more than 90 offices throughout Southern California and the Central Coast, as well as mortgage, title, escrow and home insurance companies.
